Being an entrepreneur means a lot of hard work. Hustlers are always looking for ways to get ahead and be more productive, because that’s how they set themselves apart from the competition! We see it all the time at Piloto151.
But apart from drinking 3-5 cups of coffee a day, we hardly ever think about other ways to set our mind and do what needs to be done everyday with maximum focus. We’ve been there! That’s why we’ve put together this list of 7 things you can do to be more productive at work:
1. Set your top 3 priorities the day before
Make your to-dos, but most importantly, set your top 3 priorities the night before and tackle them first thing in the morning. Why? Because you will be ready to start working as soon as you sit at your desk.
2. Become a morning person
Yes, we know you’re probably rolling your eyes because this must be the 151st time someone has told you this. But now that you have your top 3 priorities written down, imagine doing all your hard work first thing in the morning and having the rest of your day to tackle other less meaningful things with less stress? Count us in!
It doesn’t matter if you do crossfit or just a quick stretch in the morning, getting your blood flowing every day is one of the best things you can do for your productivity and most importantly, your health! Plus, who doesn’t love that endorphin rush?

4. Practice the pomodoro technique
Have you ever started your day feeling your best productive self and ended up achieving nothing because you had too many distractions? Yup! We’ve been there. But ever since we discovered this our productivity has increased. But how do you practice this technique? Set a timer for 25 minutes and concentrate on that sole task for the entire period. Once the time is over, give yourself a 5 minute break and start all over again. Repeat this process 4 times and then give yourself a long break. See how many times you can keep the streak!

5. Make yourself comfortable

6. Keep a tidy space
You know what they say! A crowded space makes a crowded mind. Set your mind (or reminder in your phone) and don’t forget to leave your desk without tidying up first.

7. Sleep 8 hours a day
Repeat after us: YOU DON’T NEED THAT MUCH CAFFEINE! Don’t ever underestimate the power of sleep. Getting 8 hours of sleep will help you be more aware and most importantly, happy and more alert during your day.
